Will my Ignitech unit come pre-programmed, or do I need the USB cable?

Ignitech configures the unit's hardware for your bike (pickup inputs, coil outputs, connector), and we send you a base map and the user manual so you can start the engine. Programmable units such as the TCIP4 or DCCDIP must be programmed/fine-tuned for your specific bike and modifications, because we cannot know every change made to your engine. For this you need the Ignitech USB/COM programming cable and the free Ignitech software, so we strongly recommend ordering the cable together with the unit.
