What warranty do AEM/MSD ignition coils for the RX-8 have, and what is the most common cause of failure?

We cover the coils for 2 years as long as the coil has not changed shape. The most common problem on the RX-8 is coils that swell/overheat because a workshop left them connected while cranking the engine for a compression test (without spark plugs the energy has nowhere to go). Always disconnect the coils before a compression test. Installation requires basic technical skills.
