The diaphragm of my AEM fuel pressure regulator started leaking right after installation. Why?
We discussed this with AEM. This usually happens when the regulator is used with racing fuel or a fuel mixed with methanol, which the standard diaphragm is not designed for. In that case the failure is expected and is not a manufacturing defect. If you run racing fuel, methanol blends or E85, ask us for an alternative regulator that is rated for those fuels. Lately Turbosmart released a new FPR fro "special fuels". Ask our team for more information.
