I have a classic car with a distributor (e.g. Alfa Romeo Twin Spark 8V). What ignition upgrade do you recommend?

If the distributor is in good condition you don't need to replace it. We usually upgrade the ignition coil and spark plug wires to MSD and add an MSD ignition box (e.g. 6A or Street Fire). This gives a much stronger spark and reduces plug fouling.
