How is an MSD 6AL (with 2-Step) wired on a car like a BMW E36 318is?

Installation is simple, 6 main wires: 2 wires from the MSD box to the battery (+ and –), 2 wires to the original coil positive and negative trigger wires (which you disconnect from the coil), and 2 wires to the + and – terminals of the ignition coil. For launch control (2-step) you also need a switch in the cabin to activate it.
