Where are GReddy Profec settings stored, and can I swap the display or control unit with another Profec?

The settings and calibration are stored in both the display and the control (solenoid/power) unit, which are matched as a pair. GReddy does not sell them separately, and mixing a display and a control unit from different sets reduces accuracy.
