The Infinity-506 and Infinity-508 ECU, an affordable state-of-the-art engine control unit designed for four- and six-cylinder racing engines and V8 racing engines using high-impedance injectors. Extensive research and development was put into designing the Infinity-506/508 to ensure that it delivers an unmatched price point for this level of engine control.
Infinity-506
The Infinity-506 is designed for racing engines with up to 6 cylinders. It features a smaller footprint than the Infinity-7088/710 (5.855” x 5.55” x 1.8”) and a single, weatherproof 80-pin connector.
Infinity-508
The Infinity-508 is designed for high performance V8 crate engines and smaller race engines using high impedance injectors. It also features the same small footprint and single, weatherproof 80-pin connector as the Infinity-506.
Features
The Infinity-506/508 include all of the advanced features found in its larger iteration including the latest generation 200 MHz automotive processor that can process 400 MIPS. Airflow model based (VE) tuning eliminates lookup of many correction tables needed in previous generation ECUs. Flex fuel and multi-fuel capability, on-board wideband air/fuel control, map switching and knock control are included. Engine protection strategies include coolant temp, oil temp, AFR vs. MAP, intake air temp, knock or fuel pressure. Programmable drive-by-wire, variable cam timing, boost control, nitrous control and traction control are included. Data logging up to 64GB via a removable USB is standard with logging rates up to 1KHZ per channel. The Infinity-506/508 is able to communicate with 3rd party dashes and loggers and is AEMnet enabled. All maps can be password protected. Its sealed enclosure and IP67 rated communications ports are suitable for engine bay mounting.
Wiring Harnesses
AEM offers a flying lead wiring harness for the Infinity-506/508 that is 96” in length and pre wired with power, grounds, a power relay, fuse block, wideband and AEMnet. A Plug & Pin kit is also available for the Infinity-506/508 that includes an 80-pin connector with cover, 80 small pins, 1 micro relay with pins and 30 sealing plugs. Many Plug & Play adapter harnesses for popular race vehicles are currently in development and will be available in the near future.

Infinity-506/508 PNP Jumper HarnessHonda/Acura B/D/H OBD2B (99-01)
The Infinity ECU for manual transmission equipped 1999-01 B/D/H Series Honda/Acura OBDIIb racing engines (Infinity-506 PN 30-7106 and Infinity-508 PN 30-7108) includes an engine-specific start-up calibration and connects to the engine via a Plug & Play harness that is sold separately (PN 30-3509).
Complete Stand Alone Engine Control
The Infinity ECU combines with the Plug & Play harness to replace the factory ECU. It controls all of the engine functions and the Plug & Play wiring harness adapter eliminates the need for cutting and splicing wires.
Plug & Play Harness with Expansion Port
AEM’s sealed, weatherproof Plug & Play harness (sold separately) includes a Lambda connector, an AEMnet connector for communication with other AEMnet enabled devices and an auxiliary connector with a Deutsch DTM 12P connector for adding common aftermarket sensors. Coil-On-Plug Ready Adapter Harness for OBDI/OBDII B/D/H
The ignition coil Deutsch connectors on Honda/Acura OBDII B/D/H adapter harnesses enables racers to easily convert their race engine to coil-on-plug without having to modify the ECU’s connector or make any changes to the jumpers in the ECU. For racers who are still running a distributed ignition, an ignition coil adapter is available that plugs into the ignition coil Deutsch connector (PN 30-3501-00, sold separately).
The Infinity EMS delivers high-end engine control for the racing masses at a fraction of the cost. The Infinity-506 and -508 for Honda B/D/H OBDI race engines is even more affordable than its larger -708 and -710 version because it is designed for smaller racing engines using low impedance injectors up to 6 cylinders or race engines driving up to 8 high impedance injectors. It features a smaller footprint than the Infinity-708/-710 (5.855” x 5.55” x 1.8”) and a single, weatherproof 80-pin connector. Bosch Wideband UEGO O2 sensor
OVERVIEW
The kit includes the Bosch sensor 4.2LSU for use with any AEM Wideband UEGO Controller or Meter .
The Bosch sensor 4.2LSU, who gives the AEM Wideband controllers has great accuracy and speed. In the factory during manufacture calibrate properly and never requires calibration with air is used with an AEM controller!

Infinity Supported applications refer to an engine family or cam/crank pattern for which the Infinity ECU has been tested and validated to run. However, certain ancillary vehicle systems (such as factory instrument clusters, automatic transmissions, and certain drive by wire throttles), may not be supported.
The setup Wizard included with the InfinityTuner user interface software dramatically simplifies initial tuning configuration to help ensure successful initial startup for Supported applications.
Wiring will be required for Supported applications. AEM offers Universal wiring harnesses in several iterations and detailed application-specific wiring instructions/schematics.

Plug & Play Applications
Infinity Plug & Play applications are available for select vehicles. Plug & Play applications support a vehicle's engine and most other ancillary vehicle systems, and include application-specific start up calibrations.
