The Stilo ST5FN DES series is a benchmark full-face circuit racing helmet engineered specifically for open-wheel, single-seater, and formula competition. Designed with a narrow, aerodynamic outer shell profile, the "FN" configuration features a smooth exterior without integrated side electronics ports to minimize drag in open cockpits. Certified under FIA 8859 / Snell SA2020 standards (along with FIA 8860 variants) across Composite, Carbon, and Zero constructions, it delivers excellent acoustic insulation, top ventilation compatibility, and built-in ports for drinking systems.
The Stilo ST5FN DES remains one of the most widely used full-face circuit helmets in open-wheel and formula racing, engineered specifically to satisfy the strict aerodynamic and safety demands of single-seater cockpits. Featuring Stilo's iconic narrow shell architecture, the ST5FN DES provides exceptional head clearance while maintaining a minimal frontal surface area to reduce drag at high speeds.
Built as part of the "FN" (Formula No Electronics) lineup, the helmet features a completely smooth side profile free of external side electronics ports. Fitted with a full-size clear visor and central locking system, the ST5FN DES incorporates internal channels designed to cleanly house optional drinking system tubes and top air cooling attachments. Factory-fitted with FIA-approved HANS posts, it delivers proven single-seater head protection across Carbon, Composite, and FIA 8860 shell options.
