ACCEL Coolant Temperature Sensors use a thermistor to accurately, precisely measure engine temperature. Thermistor resistance decreases as the engine heat increases, which tells the electronic control unit when and how much to reduce fuel enrichment. ACCEL Coolant Temperature Sensors are made of brass and come with 3/8 pipe threads.
