Racedom Mazda RX8 MSD Ignition Kit
The RX-8 upgrade ignition kit refers to all RX-8 models. This kit will replace the existing ignition coils with Capacitive Discharge Multiple Spark Coils. To optimize the performance all parts have been carefully selected by our team. Curved heat resistant boots, thick spark plug wire, high power ignition coils and durable harness are the parts. The kit is accompanied with special harness for the coil connection.
Caution!
Ignition coils that their shape is deformed cannot be replaced under warranty. In case the body of the ignition coil has split out resin it also cannot be replaced under warranty.
Caution for RX8 owners!
Dear RX8 Owner, remember to disconnect the ignition coil whenever you are doing compression test. Disconnect the ignition coil from the 5-wire or 4-wire connector. Otherwise the ignition coil will be destroyed and there will be no warranty.

The kit is accompanied with special harness for the coil connection. This way you will not cut any wire from the factory harness. The kit will give to your engine smoother start more power and less misfires.
Installation Steps
- Remove the old ignition coils.
- Choose the place that you will install the coils and install them (the mounting kit for the coils is not included).
- Connect the coil connector harness to the old connectors and the coils.
- Measure the length of each spark plug wire and cut the cable.
- Install the boots on the wires.
- Plug in the spark plug wires to the coil.
Note:Some of these steps have to be done by an expert.
